FAQ

What is included in the boarding and daycare service?

Your fur baby will enjoy a comfortable, home environment with plenty of love and attention! This includes daily walks (weather permitting), playtime, and socialization with other small dogs, as well as regular feeding according to their schedule. We also have cozy spaces for naps and lots of cuddles!

Do you require a meet and greet before booking?

Yes, we require a meet and greet to ensure that your dog is comfortable in our home and gets along well with the other dogs and that you are comfortable too. It’s also an opportunity for us to understand your dog's personality and specific needs.

What should I bring for my dog’s stay?

Please bring your dog’s food, any medications they need, their favorite toy or blanket, and a collar with an ID tag. We also recommend bringing any comfort items that will help them feel at home.

How do you handle emergencies or special needs?

We are trained to handle emergencies and will contact you immediately if any issues arise. To ensure we can act quickly, we have included in our policies medical authorization to bring your pet to a veterinarian office of our choosing if we can not get a hold of you or we cannot get in to see your pet’s vet on file. We also ask that you add Vicki and Paul Dell to your pet’s account at the vet.

What are the drop-off and pick-up times?

Drop-off and pick-up times are flexible to accommodate your schedule! Just let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to make it convenient for you. However, we ask for a heads-up if you need to make changes to your planned times.

Are the dogs supervised at all times?

Yes, your dog will always be supervised. We provide constant care and attention to ensure every dog is safe, happy, and comfortable. Whether they’re playing, resting, or eating, someone is always keeping an eye on them. If at times we need to step out, they will be secured in cozy areas in our home. We do not crate pets unless they are crated in their own home.

What is your policy on vaccinations and health requirements?

All dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella. We also require that your dog is free of fleas, ticks, and other parasites.

How do you handle dogs with separation anxiety?

We understand that some dogs may experience separation anxiety and we do our best to make them feel at home. We provide extra comfort, attention, and reassurance. You’re welcome to bring items that smell like home, and we’re happy to stick to any familiar routines that help ease their anxiety.

Do dogs need to be spayed or neutered?

Yes, for the safety and well-being of all the dogs in our care, we require that dogs be spayed or neutered before boarding or daycare. This helps maintain a calm and friendly environment without any additional distractions.

Can my dog board with you if they are over 20lbs?

Depending on your dog’s breed, size, and temperament, we may be able to accommodate them. We do accept short, squatty dogs and those who may weigh slightly over 20lbs but still have a smaller build. This will be determined during the Meet and Greet.

Can I receive updates on my dog while they are with you?

By downloading the Precise Petcare App in the App Store or Google Play, you will receive updates at your fingertips for all services. We will also email you daily updates after each service.  We understand how important it is to know your fur baby is happy and well-cared for.

What types of activities will my dog participate in during their stay?

We provide a variety of activities tailored to your dog’s preferences and energy level. This includes playtime in our fenced yard, socialization with other small dogs, interactive games, walks, and plenty of cuddle sessions.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change! We ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking. If your request falls during the holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day) then 2 weeks notice is required. Cancellation fees will apply if timely notice is not given.
